DESCRIPTION:Description:\nThe Nationwide Open is the second event on our annual calendar with prizes structured to ensure even lower rated players can win something. \nEntry Deadline: April 15\nStart Date: May 1\nQualification: Open to all CCCA members.\nEntry fee: $15 \nFormat: Up to 10 games\, based upon the number of entries\n2-6 => Double round-robin\n7-11 => Single round-robin\n12+ => Silli pairing system (10 games) \nTime Control: Triple-Block to complete within 2 years (50 days + 5 Increment\, Initial Bank 50 days). No leave. \nCash Prizes: (pool is 90% of entry fees)\n1st = ~50%\n2nd = ~30%\nTop finisher from bottom half of start ratings = ~20%\nTie-Breaks: full TBs to be applied to prizes.\nNotes: A positive score (> 50% of the possible points) is required for all prizes\, except “Top finisher from bottom half of start ratings“. Only one (1) cash prize per player.
