Rules of Play

CCCA holds the overwhelming majority of domestic and international tournaments on the ICCF server. As a result they fall under the latest ICCF Rules.

The Executive monitors the ICCF Rules and decides from time to time to implement specific ones for the domestic tournaments to ensure their optimal duration, and a better scheduling. Below is a list of motions voted and implemented lately:

    • Use Triple-Block time controls as default for all CCCA events (since 2024-11).
K and O tournaments will now use a 2-year time control (50 days + 5 Increment, Initial Bank of 50 days).
